  • Jr. Engineer: Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline (Chemical / Mechanical) with minimum 55% marks for ST candidates. Minimum 08 years post qualification experience.
  • Foreman: Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline. Minimum 02 years post qualification experience.
  • Junior Superintendent (Official Language): Bachelor Degree of minimum 03 years duration in Hindi Literature with minimum 55% marks and should have English as one of the subjects in Graduation. Minimum 03 years post qualification experience.
  • Junior Superintendent (HT): Bachelor Degree of minimum 03 years duration with minimum 55% marks and Diploma in Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations with minimum 55% marks. Minimum 02 years post qualification experience.
  • Junior Chemist: Master Degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry of minimum 02 years duration with minimum 55% marks. Minimum 02 years post qualification experience.
  • Technical Assistant (Laboratory): Bachelor Degree in Science (B. Sc.) (with Chemistry) of minimum 3 years duration with minimum 50% marks for SC Candidates. Minimum 01 year post qualification experience.
  • Operator (Chemical): Bachelor Degree in Science (B. Sc.) with subjects of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics of minimum 3 years duration with minimum 55% marks. OR B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry of minimum 3 years duration with minimum 55% marks. Minimum 01 year post qualification experience.
  • Technician (Electrical): Matric plus ITI Tradesman ship/ National Apprenticeship Certificate in Electrical/ wireman Trade. Minimum 02 years post qualification experience.
  • Technician (Instrumentation): Matric plus ITI Tradesman ship/ National Apprenticeship Certificate in Instrumentation Trade. Minimum 02 years post qualification experience.
  • Technician (Mechanical): Matric plus ITI Tradesmanship/ National Apprenticeship Certificate in fitter / diesel mechanic/ machinist/ turner trade. Minimum 02 years post qualification experience.
  • Technician (Telecom and Telemetry): Matric plus ITI Tradesman ship/ National Apprenticeship Certificate in Electronics/ Telecommunication trade. Minimum 02 years post qualification experience.
  • Operator (Fire): 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 06 months duration of Fireman’s Training course and Driving License for heavy vehicle/ Fire Tenders; Proficiency in operating the pump/ other firefighting equipment. Minimum 02 years post qualification experience.
  • Assistant (Store and Purchase): Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration with minimum 55% Marks. Minimum 01 year post qualification experience.
  • Accounts Assistant: Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration in Commerce (B.Com) with minimum 55% marks. Minimum 01 year post qualification experience.
  • Marketing Assistant: Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration in Business Administration (BBA/BBS/BBM) with minimum 55% marks. Minimum 01 year post qualification experience.

GAIL Recruitment Selection Process

  • Written Test and/or Skill Test
  • Trade Test in the relevant discipline.

GAIL Recruitment Application Fee:

  •  A non-refundable application fee of ₹ 50/- (excluding applicable Convenience Fee and Taxes) for General, EWS and OBC (NCL) category candidates.
  • SC/ ST/ PwBD category candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
