IQVIA Job Description:

IQVIA is hiring candidates for the post of Software Developer.

IQVIA Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Works with the architect and product manager to understand the business needs and translate these into technical requirements broken down into manageable work packages
• Leads development activities, code management and releasing of code to the Test and Live environments
• Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, modifies, and maintains software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs.
• Under broad guidance, may interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
• Prepares feasibility studies to evaluate requirements for new and revised programs.
• Translates detailed design specifications into computer program instructions, debugs routine programs, prepares system test data and prepares program documentation.
• Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
• Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.

IQVIA Job Preferred skill:

• Collaborate closely with other developers in the team
• Promote best-practice software development and related technologies and participate in the full software life-cycle.
• Lead agile practices such as daily stand ups, sprint planning, sprint refinements, and retrospectives; 
• Deliver development reports, milestones and delivery schedules to the principal developer and team
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• A solid background in SaaS development and web technologies based on PHP and MySQL
• Familiarity with code management systems, in particular, GIT
• Experience of release management
• Comfortable with the use of supporting technologies like CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, SOAP, REST etc. 
• A champion of good development practice and the adherence to modularity, reusable code, and coding standards
• A solution-oriented, proactive and quick thinker with good problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills including written and spoken English.
