TNPSC Jailor is hiring candidates for the post of Jailor (Men)
TNPSC Jailor Recruitment Age Limit
- 32 to 37 years for General category.
- No Maximum age limit for Reserved category candidates.
TNPSC Jailor Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelors Degree in any discipline awarded by any University recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
- Preference shall be given to the candidates possessing a Master’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice Administration and next preference shall be given to the candidates possessing Master’s degree in Social Work.
- Applicants should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.

- Written Examination (Objective Type) (OMR / CBT Method)
- Oral Test.
TNPSC Jailor Physical Standards
- Height: 160 Cms for SC, SC (A) and ST, 165 Cms for all others.
- Chest: 81 – 86 Cms for SC, SC (A) and ST, 79 – 84 Cms for all others.
TNPSC Jailor Recruitment Application Fee:
- Registration Fee: ₹ 150/- only, The one time registration system valid for 05 years.
- Examination Fee: ₹ 150/- for General and OBC category candidates.
